Tetra has committed significant time and resources for over two decades to ensure well-being of children. This is most evident and fulfilling through our involvement with Devotion to Children. Bill Lauer has served on the advisory Board of Directors of Devotion to Children, an organization that is dedicated to fulfilling the needs of children, ages six and younger. Founded in 1994 in Falls Church, Virginia, Devotion to Children helps both working and unemployed families who need access to affordable, quality preschool, daycare, health and educational services unavailable to them without outside assistance.
Tetra has also provided financial support and has been involved in fundraising efforts for the Ronald McDonald House at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and for Joe Gibbs’ Youth for Tomorrow. In addition, Tetra renovated Alternative House, a crisis intervention center for at-risk youths, teens and their families. Tetra is especially proud to have earned the title "Most Philanthropic" by the Washington Business Journal.
